Looking to launch your career as a graphic designer? The Professional Certificate program imparts the fundamental technical and aesthetic skills required for this challenging field.
Professional Certificate students learn the software programs that every graphic designer needs to know: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Students prepare digital images, illustrations, and layouts, learning how to address the elements of color, typography, composition, and visual identity. Class assignments include photo editing and collage, display advertising, logo design, poster design, form design, magazine covers, promotional design, book design, and more.
Certificate programs start on a monthly basis. You'll progress through your program in a cohort of up to 30 students. A designated Student Advisor will guide you throughout your program, helping you keep track of course deadlines and complete your program on time. Group progress reports and student work showcases foster peer interaction and inspire you to put your all into every project.
