Online Education Awards

Sessions College is honored to be the recipient of the following online education awards and recognitions:

USDLA Best Practices Gold Award for Distance Learning Programming (2008, 2009)

In 2008, the Sessions College Graphic Design Certificate program received the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) Best Practices Award for Distance Learning Programming. Judges commended the program's creative and technical curriculum, one-to-one student mentoring, and dedicated faculty. In 2009, Sessions College received a second Gold Award for its Louis H. Schilt Memorial Scholarship for severely injured veterans.

Military Friendly Schools (2010, 2011)

Sessions College was recognized on the G.I. Jobs 2010 and 2011 Lists of Military Friendly Schools. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools that are most committed to providing a military friendly environment for U.S. servicemembers, veterans, and their families. Sessions College is listed under the "Virtual Schools" category at the Military Friendly Schools site.

Angel Impact Award

Sessions College has twice won ANGEL Impact Awards for online educational technology. The school received awards for its development of the My Gallery and Success Tracker tools, two customized extensions of the ANGEL LMS functionality. The purpose of the ANGEL awards was to recognize efforts to impact education, exemplary ANGEL implementation, and fostering innovation and collaboration.

Inc 5000 (2007, 2008)

In 2007 and 2008, Sessions College was included in the prestigious Inc 5000 list, a directory of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States.
