Production Manager Career Description

 

Production Managers supervise the production of a variety of projects. Their duties can include project planning, workflow management, vendor negotiations, print buying, cost control, quality control, press checks, and logistical coordination. They often supervise traffic coordinators and print buyers; may manage small design studio. Expertise in both analog and digital technologies, familiarity with design software applications and project management experience is required. Software skills and work flow familiarity requirements may range, depending on the job.
