Game Art Certificate program requirements
To complete the coursework in the Game Art Certificate program, you are expected to meet the hardware and software requirements below. Requirements for enrollment in the program are found on the Application Process page.
Hardware and Software Requirements
- A Windows-based or Macintosh computer that meets manufacturers' requirements for required software in the program.
- Broadband access to the Internet
- Autodesk Maya
- Adobe Photoshop and basic experience in Photoshop. If needed, the Photoshop Basics course can help you meet this requirement.
- Access to at least one current game console (such as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii)
- A three-button mouse for use in Maya (required for PC users, recommended for Mac users)
- Program concentrations and course substitutions may involve additional requirements. Please check course syllabus pages for more details.
