Sessions is recognized as an Alliance Partner by Angel Learning, an Indianapolis-based provider of the web-based ANGEL Learning Management System. Sessions offers Angel clients our suite of Education Services as well as the design curriculum of our School of Design available on the ANGEL learning platform.

Career College Association

Sessions is an Allied Plus member of the Career College Association. As a member of CCA, Sessions.edu offers other member institutions assistance in their efforts to reach and teach more students by offer our full range of Education Services. Most notably, Sessions.edu offers CCA member institutions the service of Educational Model Transformation -- migrating curriculum and teaching from brick-and-mortar to online.


About Career College Association
The Career College Association is a membership organization of private, postsecondary schools, institutes, colleges and universities that provide career-specific educational programs. CCA has members that educate and support more than a million students each year for employment in over 200 occupational fields. These schools and colleges graduate approximately one-half of the technically trained workers who enter the U.S. workforce each year and also provide retraining for displaced workers and skills-upgrading for a wide variety of public and private employers.

 

DETC

Sessions, School of Design, is accredited by the Distance Education Training Council. All of Sessions.edu courses and programs are reviewed by the DETC Accrediting Commission annually. Additionally, DETC mandates student surveys to determine graduate satisfaction ratings. In a 2003 poll of Sessions.edu alumni over 95% stated that they met their learning objectives at Sessions.edu.

About Distance Education Training Council
The Distance Education and Training Council has been the standard-setting agency for distance education institutions since it was established in 1926. Its purpose was, and still is today, "to foster and preserve high quality, educationally sound and widely accepted distance education and independent learning institutions."

 

Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools

Sessions is regionally accredited by The Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools.

About Distance Education Training Council
The Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools is one of three Commissions that function within Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The others are the Commission on Higher Education and the Commission on Elementary Schools. The Commission on Secondary Schools serves both public and non-public schools in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. In addition, it accredits schools in the Caribbean as well as various locations around the world.

The Commission on Secondary Schools (CSS) was established in November 1920 to promote the improvement of secondary education and to secure better coordination and understanding between secondary schools and institutions of higher education. It serves public and non-public middle, intermediate, and/or secondary schools, non-degree granting vocational technical and postsecondary institutions, special purpose schools, supplementary education centers, and distance education institutions.

 

New York State Education Department

As a school licensed by the New York State Education Department, Sessions.edu must submit for review and approval all new courses and programs prior to making them available for enrollment. All Sessions.edu courses and programs have been approved by NYSED.
