its distance education initiative.
This initiative includes strategy development,
online curriculum migration, infrastructure
design, and marketing. Distance education
is considered a critical component of DSU’s
strategy to attract and retain students
across multiple curriculums and to a global
audience of students and university partners. |

Peachpit has been publishing award-winning
books on the latest in graphic design, desktop
publishing, multimedia, Web publishing,
and general computing since 1986. They are
now publishing a book in collaboration with
the Sessions School of Design faculty that
utilizes the best of Sessions Education
Services to differentiate the title within
the crowned design publishing marketplace.
The book will include an instructor-led
component inviting readers to enter the
Sessions.edu online learning environment
(Learning Management System) where they
can post design work for critique and feedback
from the Sessions.edu design faculty and
from other readers. |

| Web2Zone |

New Retail Program |

Sessions is partnered with Web2Zone, a New
York City cyber center, to offer courses
in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver,
Flash, Fireworks, Freehand, and others.
All courses are offered onsite at Web2Zones'
flagship New York Center. Web2zone is a
premium specialty retail destination offering
access to interactive video games, Internet
connectivity for personal productivity &
entertainment, and small business center
services for individuals requiring work-related
solutions. Web2zone frequently holds video
game tournaments, product launch events,
research activities, and press and media
activities.

| Create
Magazine |
Goal:
Expanded Publishing Model |

Create Magazine is a national magazine with
local content. Previously a regional publication
for creatives in South Florida, Create has
just launched in 19 new major markets each
with substantive contributions from local
creatives in each market.
Create has invited Sessions to present
the magazine’s “Studio”
tutorial content in an online community
environment where readers can exchange ideas
and post design work for feedback. Sessions
and Create Magazine invite readers from
20 major US markets into an online design
community of creative learning. |

Academy of Learning is one of Canada's largest
and most successful private vocational career
colleges. The company was founded
in 1987 and has grown to more that 150 locations
across Canada, the US and overseas.
Academy of Learning offers Sessions
Web design curriculum as a Web Diploma program.
This Web Design Diploma, powered by Sessions,
has extended the academy's more traditional
career preparation programming into the
areas of visual and digital design -- an
heretofore untapped demographic in their
current broad marketing channel.

Stevens-Henager College (SHC), founded in
1891, is a degree-granting college with
four campuses located throughout Utah. SHC
College is widely recognized for its adherence
to high educational standards with academic
programs designed specifically to meet the
changing trends and requirements of the
modern business world. SHC offers Sessions
design courses as part of individually designed
Associates Degree of Occupational Studies
in Design with a blended model of instruction
that includes online courses and traditional
classroom general education requirement.

Sessions has partnered with Australia-based
graphic design magazine Design Graphics
to publish a graphic design project-based
magazine series. The series includes stand-alone
issues which collectively offer readers
a course in graphic design techniques that
results in a portfolio of graphic design
work.

faculty and College America’s faculty
are working together to bring College America
