Looking to design marketing or identity pieces in a small business or corporate environment? The Advanced Certificate program helps you acquire essential skills and build a creative portfolio with advanced classes.

As an Advanced program student, you'll complete the Foundation level, learning essential techniques in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Powerpoint. As your prepare digital images, illustrations, and presentations, you'll explore the challenges of color, typography, composition, and visual identity design.

At the Advanced level, students choose a professional concentration: Print Design or Web Business. Challenging hands-on projects are geared to helping you hone your work and build your portfolio. Class assignments explore scenarios in publication layout, logo design, and packaging, or Internet marketing and ecommerce site design.

Upon completing the Advanced Level, you'll present a body of work to a portfolio review panel for feedback. The focus of the class is to help you present your work effectively to potential employers.

Need motivation? Get critique, feedback, and mentoring from an industry-leading faculty throughout your program. Draw on a resourceful student services team for advisement and support.
