| Are you looking to develop a broad skillset in interactive design and animation—or create multimedia content for Web?
The Master's Certificate program is a platform for success, enabling you to develop a rounded portfolio in Flash or Web-based multimedia, as well as branch out into graphic design, digital imaging, digital photography, or game art.
As a Master's Certificate program student, you'll complete the Foundation level, developing skills in Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and After Effects, as well as digital video shooting and production (Avid or Final Cut Express). Your focus will be designing images, animations, interfaces, and motion graphics for Web-based multimedia.
At the Master's level, students choose two professional concentrations. One concentration must be in multimedia arts: either Flash Design or Web Design. In the second concentration, you can deepen your interactive design portfolio or explore a related art/design field: Graphic Design, Digital Imaging, Digital Photography, or Game Art.
Imagine your portfolio with digital art photographs or 3D artwork alongside your animations, Web projects, or video work. Upon completing the Master's Level, you'll present a body of work to a portfolio review panel for feedback. The focus of the class is to help you present your work effectively to potential employers.
Up for the challenge? Get critique, feedback, and mentoring from an industry-leading faculty throughout your program. Draw on a resourceful student services team for advisement and support. Watch your portfolio of work evolve on your MyGallery page and network with peers in the student community DesignSessions.
