| Book Designer |
| |
We are pleased to provide Graphic Design Job Descriptions
to our visitors. A Book Designer's responsibilities
include conceptualizing and often producing both covers
and the inner page layouts. Before a book goes to print,
every aspect of its design becomes a crucial branding
decision. A Book Designer is usually responsible for
creating the look and feel of a book. Most employers
require strong typography skills and an expert knowledge
of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as a page layout
program such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress. Strong
job candidates usually provide employers with an accessible
online work showcase and bring a physical portfolio,
containing polished print work, with them to the interview. |
