New Sessions Design Competition

by Sessions Staff | August 17, 2012
Sessions College is excited to announce a new Fall design competition open to all current students.

Many times over the years, Sessions has held design competitions sponsored by non-profit companies and organizations. Past client sponsors have ranged from DETC to Big Brothers Big Sisters, to the Flower Power Foundation, Kohala Center and the American Cancer Society. Our Fall 2012 competition sponsor is the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME), a non-profit group dedicated to improving education for U.S. military service members.

In the competition, CCME is looking for students to create a logo design to be used throughout their 40th anniversary celebrations in 2013.  Subject to client approval, the student who wins the competition will have their work featured throughout the year in many places: event program, event banners, Web site, letterhead, and  more.

The competition winner will earn not only a wonderful portfolio piece but also a cash prize of $500. Finalists will have their work featured in an online gallery.

Students who wish to participate must register for the competition, either by writing to competition@sessions.edu or by registering via a form in the ANGEL learning environment (on your home page). Competition entries will be judged by a panel of Sessions instructors, who will provide a round of feedback to 3-5 finalists competing for the winning design.

For more information, please visit the CCME Logo Design Competition page.

Our thanks to CCME for providing an awesome design contest project for our students. And to all participants: we’re looking forward to seeing your work!
