Sessions College Selected as Military Friendly School

by Sessions Staff | July 14, 2010

Here is some good news for students and prospective students serving in the U.S. Military. Sessions College has been selected a Military Friendly School by GI. Jobs magazine, and listed on their Military Friendly Schools site.

To be included in the military friendly schools list is an honor for Sessions College. According to GI. Jobs magazine, their staff surveyed over 7000 college, universities and trade schools nationwide to determine which schools offered U.S service members the best overall “education, value, and welcome.” Of the 7000 schools evaluated, only 1000 were selected, placing Sessions College in the top 15% nationwide in serving military students.

In the wake of the post-9/11 GI bill, Web resources such as  GI. Jobs magazine serve an important function in helping many returning service members identify options for gaining an education or returning to the civilian workforce. Sessions College is proud to be selected for the list as it reflects the school’s ongoing commmitment to making excellent programs affordable and accessible for U.S. service members.
