Project Glass: One Day

by | Apr 6, 2012

Get ready to be blown away. Earlier this week, Google released a demonstration video for ‘Project Glass,’ the code name for the highly anticipated Google Glasses, and took the world through a day in the life of a Google Glasses owner. This video entitled, “One Day” is making everyone wish that ‘one day’ was today. From taking a photo at the touch of a button without having to pull out your phone or camera, to having a conversation with someone ‘face to face’ while walking down separate streets, Google Glasses aim to be able to do it all.

Although the release date is still unknown (and likely quite a ways off), Google Glasses are sure to be the highest level of artificial intelligence technology ever released to the consumer market. Siri better watch her back!

The makers of Project Glass said the hardware is designed to help “you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment,” according to a Google Plus Post. “We think technology should work for you–to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t,” said the Google X Labs team on the post introducing Project Glass.

Tell us what you think. Are the Google Glasses just too much technology for you? Or are you going to be camping out outside Google HQ until these are released for purchase?
