Scholarships for online degree programs

Sessions College is proud to offer scholarships to students seeking online Associate's degrees in Graphic Design or Web Design.

Scholarship for Recent High School Graduates

This scholarship seeks to promote the benefits of learning design online to recent high school graduates. Sessions College degree programs foster creativity and professional experience in a flexible but rigorous environment. We encourage U.S. students who have graduated high school in the last five years to demonstrate their art and design potential for an opportunity to receive one of four available scholarship awards.

Sessions College will provide two Graphic Design degree program students and two Web Design degree program students with $2,000 each toward their tuition.

To apply for the scholarship, you must:

  • Have completed high school in the last five years.
  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Apply for admission to the next semester of classes by the deadline of February 15, 2012.
  • Write a description of the process of creating your best portfolio sample. Provide details on the goals of the project, the steps taken to create it, and the reasons you feel it is your best art or design piece to date.

Sessions College will review each application carefully and select two Graphic Design applicants and two Web Design applicants for the scholarship based on their merit. Scholarship recipients will be notified upon acceptance into the degree program. Scholarship decisions are independent of program acceptance decisions; you may be accepted to the program even if a scholarship cannot be awarded to you.

Active-Duty Servicemember Scholarship

Sessions College welcomes military students. This scholarship offers U.S. military servicemembers the chance to develop skills for a graphic or Web design career while on active duty.

Sessions College will provide one Graphic Design degree program student and one Web Design degree program student with $2,000 each toward their tuition.

To apply for the scholarship, you must:

  • Be an active duty U.S. military servicemember.
  • Apply for admission to the next semester of classes by the early action deadline of February 15, 2012.
  • Write a description of the process of creating your best portfolio sample. Provide details on the goals of the project, the steps taken to create it, and the reasons you feel it is your best art or design piece to date.
