Outstanding Graduate Awards 2025-26
Kalisha Loeser

Graduate Profile
About me: I've been getting into cinematic photography for fun. I get really inspired by my surroundings. I mainly take photos of neon signs, old buildings, and aesthetic spaces I come across. I have no plans to make it a profession, but I think I will always enjoy taking pictures of cool things.
Favorite projects: Right now, my main strength is content design. At work, I create content for e-commerce clients to use on their Amazon storefronts, and I also design content for their social media. I love the variety in my job and I'm always trying to learn more to better help my client.
Why study online: It was nice not having to worry about going to a physical class after working at my full-time job. It's not always easy to manage work/school life balance.
Best thing about Sessions: The instructors were good at giving feedback and the advisors were always helpful.
Favorite class or instructor? My favorite class was Photoshop I, mainly because it involved learning how to blend different images together and I use that at my job a lot.
Creative/professional goals after graduation? Honestly, the job I have now is my dream job so I'm not really sure what else is next for me. My Canva portfolio URL is at this link.
“Kalisha's work is clean and elegant. She has a particular sense of how to use typography for effectiveness, where less is more. Her sparing but well placed use of type shows a confidence and maturity of design.“
