Online college tuition and fees for degree program

This page lists spring 2012 online college tuition and fees for the Sessions College Associate's degree program. The Associate's program is a 72-credit program designed to be completed in two years over six semesters on a full-time schedule. Part-time schedules are also available.

Tuition for Full-Time Students

Most degree students are on a full-time schedule, which requires 12 credits per semester. While this schedule requires commitment, many of our full-time students are able to complete their programs while continuing to work part- or full-time.

Tuition for Part-Time Students

$300 per credit

Part-time schedules are designed for students with busy work schedules. Per-credit tuition is higher for part-time programs and tuition must be paid by semester.

  • Three-quarter time (3/4) students take 9 credits each semester and complete in 3 years.
  • Half time (1/2) students take 6 credits each semester and complete in 4 years.

Students wishing to change their status from full-time to part-time or from part-time to full-time will be assessed a status change fee of $150.

The following fees are applicable to all students.

* Application and registration fees are nonrefundable after 5 days from the scheduled beginning of program orientation. Application fees are required to have your application reviewed. Registration fees are required to process your enrollment in the program.

Payment of Tuition and Fees

Program Registration. Payment of the $200 registration fee is due within 5 business days upon receipt of acceptance offer. Failure to remit the registration fee may result in the withdrawal of acceptance into the program. The first tuition payment is due no later than 30 days after issuance of the acceptance letter. Students will not receive orientation materials or be allowed to participate in orientation events prior to payment of the tuition.

Continuing Students. For continuing students paying tuition by semester, payments are due on the following schedule:

  • November 1 for January semester
  • March 1 for May semester
  • July 1 for September semester

Payments not received within 30 days will be subject to a late tuition fee of $250. If payments are not received by start of semester, payment of a late registration fee will also be required. Course access will not be provided until accounts are up to date.

All tuition and fees must be paid on time, including those paid by third parties. No degrees or final transcripts will be issued until all bills due Sessions College are paid in full.

Course Materials and Supplies

No textbooks are required. All coursework and materials required to complete the Associate of Occupational Studies program are provided in an online learning environment, including orientation materials, lectures, exercises, critique and discussion forums, videos, multimedia tools, and an online library.

Students are responsible for ensuring they have the computer, Internet connection, and any required supplies or software programs for specific classes. Please review the hardware, software, and supply requirements for the Graphic Design, Web Design, or Digital Media degree program. Discounts are available for enrolled students.
