
Lisa Zirbel
Lisa ZirbelLisa Zirbel is a fine art photographer who makes work connected to the body and landscape using both digital and historical photo processes. Her love of the land began in Wyoming where she earned a BFA, minors in Museum Studies and Anthropology, and Post-Baccalaureate before earning her MFA in Photography from Arizona State University. Her artwork has been showcased in over fifty exhibitions both nationally and internationally. She has taught at Arizona State University, Maricopa Community Colleges, and the University of Wisconsin. She has received awards such as the Maggie Murdock Award for Social Justice and the Teaching Excellence Award. Beyond her art, Lisa is also incredibly dedicated to fostering local and community arts via city art programming, pop-up exhibitions, workshops, and conferences.
