About me: I like to read, draw, and stargaze. I also like cosplaying and going to comic cons.
Favorite projects: I enjoy making character focused illustrations and experimenting with different techniques. I work with both digital and traditional mediums.
Why study online: Being able to study at any time or place was very convenient, and it was cool to share classes with people from a variety of different backgrounds. Additionally, it was an affordable option when compared to in-person programs.
Best thing about Sessions: The best thing about Sessions was the feedback from instructors and other students. It was helpful to get another perspective on work, and see my classmates' individual styles and creativity.
Favorite class or instructor? My favorite class was the Illustration Capstone project. I like that it allowed me to apply what I had learned from previous classes in my own way. I felt it was really practical and showed what working on a professional project might be like.
Creative/professional goals after graduation? One of my biggest goals after graduation was to sell my art at events and markets in my area on a regular basis. I have been fortunate enough to vend at a market that occurs monthly, and at other events throughout the year. Moving forward I want to continue doing this but also try finding clients and taking on freelance work. My Instagram portfolio can be viewed at this Instagram page.
