Admissions
Returning Student Admissions
We get it. Sometimes life events get in the way of your education.
If you’re a previously enrolled student (BFA, Associate Degree, or Undergraduate Certificate) and you’re ready to return to Sessions College, we’re here to help you complete your journey.
NOTE: The following policies apply to students enrolled in the last 12 months. Returning students who were enrolled more than a year ago must complete a new application.
Applying for Reentry
So you’re ready to reenter a program from which you withdrew or were dismissed—that’s great.
The steps required depend on your academic standing (Good Standing, Academic Warning / Probation) at time of withdrawal or dismissal.
Good Standing
Good Standing. You withdrew from your program in the last 12 months, and met SAP policy (GPA of 2.0 or higher, etc.) at the time.Â
Complete the following steps by the Returning Student deadline.
Returning Student – Good Standing
---
Pay a re-enrollment fee of $150
Complete any Financial Aid processes
Sign an Enrollment Agreement
Academic Warning or Probation
Academic Warning or Probation. You withdrew or were dismissed within the last 12 months, and did not meet SAP policy (GPA of 2.0 or higher, etc.) at the time.
Complete the following steps by the Returning Student deadline.
Returning Student – Academic Warning or Probation
---
Submit a Returning Student Application.
If accepted, students who are reinstated must agree to conditions of an academic plan signed by their advisor.
Pay a re-enrollment fee of $150.
Complete any Financial Aid processes by the Returning Students deadline.
Important Notes:
1. Students who are reinstated will be placed on Academic Probation and subject to general SAP requirements.Â
2. Students who were dismissed are not eligible for Financial Aid but may reenter the program on a self-pay basis, subject to the above conditions.
