Our Associate Degree programs build the perfect foundation for your creative career. Our online BFA programs are our finishing school. You’ll customize your educational plan and develop a professional portfolio geared to your specific career learning goals.

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design

BFA in Graphic Design

The online Sessions College Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design program prepares creative individuals for careers in communication design. This online Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design program is designed to produce graduates with the skills and attributes for a global audience and tomorrow’s challenges: resourceful, adaptive critical thinkers who are prepared to excel in a professional environment, and whose work is based on effective research, creative problem-solving, and design methodology. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Digital Photography program prepares creative individuals for careers in photography. TUITION AND FEES

Our Bachelor’s and Associate Degree programs help you build the perfect platform for your creative career. For seven years in a row, our degree program students have been recognized by the Department of Education for affordable tuition. Eligible students can support their program costs through access to Federal Financial Aid, GI Bill benefits, or scholarships.

The tuition and standard fees for full-time students in Bachelor’s and Associate Degree programs are as follows:

* Registration fees are nonrefundable after 5 days from the scheduled beginning of program orientation. Application fees are required to have your application reviewed. Registration fees are required to process your enrollment in the program.

Per-credit tuition for part-time students is the same as for full-time students.

Payment of Tuition and Fees

Program Registration. Payment of the $200 registration fee is due within 5 business days upon receipt of acceptance offer. Failure to remit the registration fee may result in the withdrawal of acceptance into the program. The first tuition payment is due no later than 30 days after issuance of the acceptance letter. Students will not receive orientation materials or be allowed to participate in orientation events prior to payment of the tuition.

Continuing Students. For continuing students paying tuition by semester, payments are due on the following schedule:

  • November 1 for January semester
  • March 1 for April semester
  • July 1 for August semester

Payments not received within 30 days will be subject to a late tuition fee of $250. If payments are not received by start of semester, payment of a late registration fee will also be required. Course access will not be provided until accounts are up to date.

FINANCIAL AID

Federal Student Financial Aid

Creative Learner Scholarships

Sessions College awards $500-$2,000 scholarships to exemplary degree program applicants in six nontraditional student categories. Find out if you may be eligible.

Military Students

If you are an eligible military servicemember or veteran, you may be able to fund your program using your education benefits. Ask an Admissions Advisor for more information.

GI Bill

The GI Bill® provides education financial support to U.S. military veterans and their families.

Tuition Assistance

Active U.S. military service members can fund their programs using Tuition Assistance (TA).

MyCAA

Military spouses who are pursuing qualifications in portable career fields are eligible for financial assistance.

What Software and Supplies Do I Need?

Students are responsible for access to a computer, Internet connection, and any required supplies or software programs for specific classes. Software discounts for Adobe Creative Cloud are available for enrolled students. Some programs will require additional art supplies, such as a digital camera, video camera, or drawing/painting supplies.

Do I Need to Purchase Textbooks?

Welcome to the digital age, where no textbooks are required. All coursework and materials required to complete vocational programs are provided in an online learning environment, including orientation materials, lectures, exercises, discussion forums, videos, and multimedia tools.

How Long Does the Program Take To Complete?
  • Our Associate of Occupational Studies Degree is a 2-year, 72 credit program.
  • Our Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree is a 3.3-year, 120 credit program.
When Can I Start?

Applying to Sessions College degree programs is a fast and convenient process. With our online application you can apply at any time for classes starting in January, April, and August—or take advantage of mid-term start options in February, June, and September. You can complete your application in 10-15 minutes, and receive a decision within two weeks of a completed application.

Can I Transfer In Credits?

If you have college credit, you may able to transfer those credits into our degree programs. Credit transfer can accelerate your program and lower your tuition payments. The program policy accepts up to 50% of program credits from equivalent courses at accredited institutions. For Bachelor’s and Associate Degree applicants, credit transfer evaluation is included in your application fee.

What If I Completed A Career Program At Sessions?

Sessions College Career Certificate program graduates may go on to complete a Bachelor’s or Associate degree via our academic bridge program. Eligible graduates can apply up to 24 credits for courses completed, subject to Acceptance Committee evaluation. The program is designed to reward academic achievement at the certificate level, so grades and coursework must be exemplary.

How Do I Apply?

Students entering the program are expected to have earned a high school diploma, GED, or state-approved home school equivalent. Any students under 18 years of age will need to provide the signed permission of a parent or guardian.

To apply, you’ll need to complete our convenient online application and provide an application essay, official transcripts from high school OR for any college degree completed, and 5-10 samples of your art/design work.
