CCME Design Competition Update

by Sessions Staff | September 28, 2012
Sessions College online faculty members Boris Margolin and Joanna Smith met yesterday to evaluate the submissions in our Fall 2012 Student Design Competition. The competition, an anniversary logo design project for a non-profit Council of College Military Educators (CCME), generated a terrific response: By the competition deadline of September 24, more than 70 logo designs had been submitted by 23 students from different programs.

As you can imagine, choosing the candidates and works to progress to the next stage was a difficult decision with so much creative work on display.

We’d like to congratulate the following students who were selected as finalists:

Bournias, Christina
Edgar, Amber
Jain, Niharika
Niederkorn, Justin
Sanon, Karl-Henry
Shirley, Courtney

Each finalist will receive a round of feedback from our faculty panel and will be asked to submit their final work (with any changes) by Monday Oct 8th. That round of submissions will be presented to the client, the CCME board, in order to identify the ultimate winner.

We’d like to thank everyone who participated in our first client competition since 2010. We’re looking to make client competitions a regular event at Sessions, so please let us know your feedback so we can improve this event going forward.
