Free Font Friday: Vision

by Margaret Penney | November 10, 2017

The Vision font family has six weights and support for thirty languages. Vision is a free font family designed by the well-respected Pixel Surplus and Bydani. The font family is a great free download with six weights and support for thirty languages. Vision also has creative and stylish OpenType features like stylistic variations, standard and discretional ligatures, and unique numerators and denominators.

The Vision font family is a geo-humanist sans with an unassuming elegance and a clean and readable presentation. The inspiration for the design is quite creative — the font began as an exploration of the geometric forms of early 20th century artists like El Lissitzy and his collection of work Prouns.

There is quite a lot to love with this adaptable and timeless font family. Vision would work well for design, art, and architecture clients and poster and editorial design, in particular. The font is free for personal use but a small donation to Bydani is also appreciated.
