Font Friday: Lombok
by Margaret Penney | September 9, 2016
Alexandre Pietra has designed a delightful display font that appears as if from an alien planet where style and sophistication rule. Lombok is a clean, minimal and geometric design. Lombok’s artistry is found in its use of white space to create the letter forms. Thin lines bracket space and are used to suggest elements of the letter, like the tail of the letter Q.
Lombok began as a logo for an electronic festival and is a good choice for music, arts, fashion and architecture projects.
